Kate has served as Canton Trustee since 2020, and prior to that served for 6 years on the P-CCS School Board. Kate and husband Tom bought their first house in Canton in 1991. All three of their children were raised here in Canton and went to P-CCS schools.
Kate believes in a team approach to foster strong leadership in Canton, including outreach to county, state, and federal counterparts to ensure a seamless government. She is grateful for such collaborative relationships, which have brought over $30 million back to Canton.
Kate puts a personal focus on ensuring good jobs and diversity in our community. The Board of Trustees also recently hired an Economic Development & Downtown Development Authority Manager to bring more businesses and jobs to Canton.
